Climate Travel season - For Europeans, the most popular time for travelling to Thailand lies between November and March. The temperatures typically range between 20° and 30° degrees Celsius and there is little rain. During the time from March until May it is particularly hot in the country and temperatures of up to 40° degrees Celsius are not uncommon. The wet season follows with strong rainfall from May until October.

Visa - German nationals do not need a visa for a stay in the Thailand of less than 30 days.

Passport - Tourists of German nationality (including children) require a passport with a remaining validity of at least six months. In addition, travelers have to be in possession of a return ticket at the time of entry into the country.

If you are a citizen of another country please inform yourself about the corresponding entry regulations.

Children of BSfL Insurances - As public health insurances do not cover all the costs in the event of illness, we recommend that all guests obtain foreign travel insurance.

Vaccinations - In order to be optimally protected medically for your Thailand vacation you should speak to your general practitioner about recommended vaccinations as well as take into account the information provided by the German Federal Foreign Office. In addition, it is advisable to pack a small first-aid kit.

Please inform yourself about possible changes regarding the entry regulations prior to the start of your journey.
